Which is the right book for kids?

Which is the right book for kids that will neither bore them nor ruin their taste in literature? The publication 2 x 101 Books for Kids and Young Adults summarizes the history of writing for children and young adults, selecting the most important, interesting, and beloved titles. A fourteen-member-team of specialists, under the direction of Pavel Mandys, put together this encyclopedia for all those who choose books for their children, or who want to recall the stories they read as children themselves. The book is intended especially for parents, to inform them of the timeless classics and provide them a guide to the best contemporary works for young readers. Here, alongside classics like the tales of Hans Christian Andersen, The Little Prince, and The Six Bullerby Children, you’ll also find lesser-known literary gems from all over the world that deserve the attention of our readers.

The publication features foreign and domestic book covers, authors’ photos, links to film adaptations, additional tips on recommended reading, and trivia to accompany each featured title.
