Michaela Klevisová Wins the Jiří Marek Award for the Second Time

Michaela Klevisová became a second time prize-winner of the prestigious Jiří Marek Award for Best Detective novel for The Lonely House, released by Motto Publishing. The Jiří Marek Award is granted by Czech branch of AIEP for the best detective novel of the previous year. Michaela Klevisová won her first Jiří Marek Award in 2008 at the age of only thirty-two.

The Lonely House: After Nela breaks up with her boyfriend, the designer stays in the old mill she wanted to reconstruct with him. Meanwhile, the body of a young woman who was applying for a job at the local stables is found in the woods nearby… Has a serial killer from the capital moved to town? More
