Grandpas awarded the Muriel Prize
Graphic novel Grandpas (Dědečkové) written and illustrated by Pavel Čech gained a prestigious Czech comics award Muriel 2011.

was written and illustrated as a tribute to grandfathers past, present, and future—and as a memorial to their tales, strolls, and games. Graphic
novel is composed of nine stories without words, presents unusual protagonists: old men.
